From your Deckbox collection to the decks you can build
Export your collection from Deckbox as a CSV, load it on DeckScout, and see the commanders you already own and the real decks you are closest to finishing, with what is missing and what it costs.
Export from Deckbox
- Open your Inventory on deckbox.org.
- Open the export (it sits in the inventory page's menus). In the dialog, keep at least Count and Name.
- Download the file and load it on DeckScout.

The export also has a Tradelist Count column. DeckScout reads Count, your whole inventory.
What DeckScout reads from the file
- A column with the card name (Name, Card Name, Simple Name or Product Name) and one with the quantity (Quantity, Count, Qty or Total Quantity). Every other column is ignored.
- Copies add up across printings: foils, other languages and other sets all count toward the same card.
- Double-faced cards are matched by their front face. Tokens do no harm: no deck asks for them.
If the upload fails
- "No card-name column": the file is not a collection export (a deck export, or another file). Export it again from the app. A file saved again from a spreadsheet is fine, commas or semicolons.
- Fewer cards than you expected: you exported one binder, list or filtered view. Export from the main collection view.
- Names with accents look wrong: save the file as UTF-8.
- Too big: the limit is 25 MB, far above any real collection export.
What you get
- Straight away, before any search: how many of your cards can lead a Commander deck, by color identity.
- With a search: the real decks you are closest to building, starting from the commanders you already own, with the missing cards and what they cost.
- No account needed to try it. How the file is kept is in the privacy policy.
