DeckScout

Which Commander decks can I build from my collection?

Load your collection export and DeckScout first shows every card you own that can lead a Commander deck, grouped by color identity. A search then starts from those commanders: it takes the average deck of each from EDHREC and decks real players posted on Archidekt, and ranks them by how many of their cards you already own. You see each deck's completion, the cards still missing, what they cost, and its bracket.

Start from the commanders you own

The commanders panel appears right after the upload, before any search: how many of your cards can lead a deck, in which colors, and the most played of them. A commander you own is the natural place to start: its decks tend to share cards with the collection it came from.

An example

On 7 October 2026 the sample collection DeckScout offers to anyone (190 different cards, a small Golgari pile) was compared with 50 real Commander decks. The closest, Ygra, Eater of All, was 91% owned: 7 cards and about €6 from finished. Run it yourself.

What it costs

One search needs no account, and shows the 3 decks closest to the collection. Signing in (Google, Discord) is free and shows every deck a search finds, with 5 searches a month, the same for everyone, back on the 1st. Nothing is paid for: supporters on Ko-fi get a larger allowance as a thank-you, never a locked feature. No ads.

Questions

What if my closest deck is only 40% there?

Lower the minimum completion, widen the colors, or start from a commander you own. The results always lead with the decks closest to your collection, even when none reaches the threshold.

How does DeckScout know a deck's bracket?

If the deck's author declared one, that counts. Otherwise DeckScout reads it from the list on Wizards of the Coast's 1 to 5 scale: Game Changers, mass land denial, chained extra turns and known two-card combos. It is a floor, not a verdict.

Do basic lands count?

No. They are left out of the requirement, so a deck is never missing an Island.

Can I leave out preconstructed decks?

Yes, in the search settings.
