# Which cards do I need to buy to finish a deck, and what will it cost?

Load your collection export and give DeckScout the deck: an Archidekt or MTGGoldfish link, an EDHREC commander page, or the decklist as text. It lists the cards you are missing, with their price, and the total to finish it. For several decks at once, it builds one shopping list that puts first the cards that finish the most decks.

## How it works

1. Export your collection as a CSV and load it on DeckScout.
2. Under Check one specific deck, paste the deck's link or the decklist as text, and press Check this deck.
3. Read the deck's completion, the missing cards with their price, and the total to finish it.
4. Send the missing cards to TCGplayer's Mass Entry, or copy them for a Cardmarket Wants list.

## Spend less

- **A budget** on a search keeps only the decks you can finish for that amount or less, and it can be changed on the results without a new search.
- **Sort** the results by what each deck costs to finish, or by how many cards are missing.
- **One shopping list** for the decks you pick, with how many of them each card unlocks.
- **Price alerts** on saved decks: an email on Thursday when cards you are missing are at least 20% cheaper and save at least €3 together.

## About the prices

Prices are Scryfall's daily estimates: Cardmarket's in euro, or the US price for a card that has none. They are a guide, not a quote: check the store before you buy. Price alerts follow the cheapest paper printing of each card. DeckScout earns nothing from the TCGplayer and Cardmarket links.

## What it costs

One search needs no account, and shows the 3 decks closest to the collection. Signing in (Google, Discord) is free and shows every deck a search finds, with 5 searches a month, the same for everyone, back on the 1st. Nothing is paid for: supporters on Ko-fi get a larger allowance as a thank-you, never a locked feature. No ads.

### Can I check a Moxfield deck?

Yes: copy the decklist as text and paste it under Check one specific deck.

### Does DeckScout earn anything from the shop links?

No. They carry no partner code.

### Can it tell me when a deck gets cheaper?

Yes, for decks you save: switch on Alert me when it gets cheaper, and DeckScout emails you, at most once a week, when cards you are missing get noticeably cheaper.

### Why is the price different in my shop?

The estimate is one market price per card; a shop prices each printing and condition on its own.
